Life is full of surprises. As amestri, we always try to bring you spectacular things in the world. During the journey of seeking interesting facts, I found a photo of a gorgeous woman revolving on the internet. She is Eldina Jaganjac. You can see why she is so special if you closely monitor the featured image of the article. She has stopped facial hair removal. I think she is more beautiful with thick eyebrows. Eldina has listened to her heart and decided what she wants. That is absolutely awesome.
Do you remember the article about Mark Bryan’s dresses? He is also against traditional dresses and follows his heart. Everyone has the freedom to decide what they like to do. So amestri decided to have an interview with Eldina Jaganjac. She gave some great pieces of information regarding the scenario and we will share her ideas here. We also share some of her gorgeous photos with you.
#1. A little bit about you?
I live in Copenhagen, and I make documentaries. I am a content creator. I focus on body positivity and try to normalize normal bodies.

#2. Why did you stop facial hair removal?
It’s been on and off – I’m not against hair removal, but I think it’s problematic why women are expected to remove hair. There’s not the same expectation for men, so it’s pretty unfair. I think it should be each person’s choice what to do with how they look.

#3. How did you feel in the beginning?
I didn’t feel in any particular way, but it was nice to feel like I could make my own choices about how to spend my time.

#4. What are the feedbacks you got from people then and now?
The feedback is mostly good, and many people write me that I have helped them with their self-confidence. But some people, mostly men get very angry and threaten me. Sometimes men also write me about what they like in a woman, and I think it’s interesting how they think that I care or how their preferences are relevant on a global scale.
A lot of publications have written fake articles about me and have quoted me for things that I did not say. And that is very problematic, that you can write things about a person white are not true, and just put it out there.

#5. What do you have to say to society or anything you need to mention?
Looking back at history, I think that we need to realize that beauty standards change all the time. A few hundred years ago, only men wore high heels, and now it is almost exclusively women. So these things change all the time, and there is no physical law that makes gender norms exist, it is something a society chooses for itself – which norms we choose to live by.
In general, I do not think we should have gender norms at all. But I can see that the gender norms that there are, are disproportionately affecting women
– We can’t even go out and buy some bread without being sure that we are almost completely hairless and it is just not fair.
