Taiwan’s 2020 International Kite Festival kicked off this weekend in Hsinchu. A northwestern city known for its strong winds. On Sunday evening, there was news regarding a girl who flew into the sky. The incident took place when strong winds blew. A three-year-old Lin was holding the end of the kite’s long tail in her hand. With a sudden gust of wind, the girl soared into the sky with her tail, spinning her tail and throwing herself on it. But she did not fall as she gripped the tail tightly with her hands. The people who came to the kite festival screamed in fear, but there was nothing they could do at that moment. After the storm stopped for a moment, the kite landed with her. When the girl fell, a group managed to grab her.This scene was filled with screams.

The little girl terrified when she fell to the ground. But luckily, she had only gentle scratches on her face and neck. The festival staff immediately rushed to the hospital with the child and her mother for treatment. At that moment, the kite race was over. The city government, which organized the event, has suspended all kite competitions after the incident. Mayor Lin Chih-chien (林智堅) later apologized for the tragic incident via Facebook.
“The municipal government team sincerely apologizes to the victim and the public,” Lin said authorities are launching an investigation into the incident to prevent a recurrence of the accident in the future.
We all love to enjoy our selves with family members more often. So we are always seeking some new things to enjoy. But we must take care of our selves as well as family members.
