Although each disease carries mosquitoes, there are specific mosquitoes for each disease. The mosquito that spreads dengue mostly roams during the day. But the malaria mosquito is most likely to bite at night. Some mosquitoes prefer large animals, such as cattle and dogs. They do not like humans much.

The Culiseta Melanura mosquito is the most common mosquitos bite birds. They rarely bite people. Uranotaenia Sapphirina bites snakes.

The mosquito is one of the deadliest animals to kill humans. They are not directly contagious. But there are many serious mosquito-borne diseases. Of these, dengue is the worst in most countries. Although Malaria is now declining at one time, Malaria was a severe fever that plagued the dry zone of some countries. In addition, yellow fever and Japanese encephalitis are mosquito-borne diseases. Mosquitoes can also transmit diseases to our pets.

Mosquitoes have a long lifespan of 5-6 months. The female mosquito that bites us lives only three weeks. These mosquitoes breed through a life cycle. They lay their eggs in water or water bodies. Mosquito larvae then hatch and breed. Mosquitoes are also found in cold countries. Then their eggs are preserved throughout the winter for as long as eight months.

Mosquitoes can travel more than a hundred miles. The average mosquito flies only 3 to 4 km. But the Salt Marsh Mosquitoes has reportedly been able to find its prey more than 150 km away. They have been found to travel long distances in search of nectar and blood.

Carbon dioxide emissions from humans and animals are well known to mosquitoes. The female of the mosquito is attracted to humans and animals from a distance of about 25 meters by the sensation caused by this carbon dioxide.

#5. The Journey Is Slow

Mosquitoes

It flies away as we try to strike a mosquito that hides in somewhere of our bodies. So we think the mosquito is flying very fast. But the mosquito is a slow-moving animal. The speed of the mosquito is between 1.5 and 2 km per hour. Compared to other fast-moving butterflies, moths, and bees, the mosquito is a slow-moving creature.

Another thing we hate about mosquitoes is their sound. We hear the sound of their wings fluttering. It is between 300 – 600 movements per second. They have also been found to use these wing tones to track their mates.
